Additional public transport runs will be organized and several bus routes will be changed during the Night of Museums
“Rīgas satiksme” informs that on May 18, during the Night of Museums, additional public transport runs will be organized and transport on several routes will run from the city centre until 2:00.
For passengers comfort, additional public transport runs will be organized on May 18-19 so as to cover a majority of the city districts and museums involved in the events of the Night of Museums. Additional runs will be organized:
- on tram routes No. 1, 5, 7, 10, 11 and that of the Retro tram;
- on trolleybus routes No. 9, 14, 15, 17, 18, 22 and 27;
- on bus routes No. 1 , 3, 11, 12/23/26 (combined, runs on Akmens Bridge), 18, 24, 25, 37, 40, 50, 51 and 53.
Please take into account that bus routes No. 37, 41 and 53, as well as minibus route No. 241 will be changed during the Night of Museum events, from 18:00 until the end of the traffic. From Imanta and Zolitūde, the buses will run by the route to K. Valdemāra Street, then along K. Valdemāra Street, Raiņa Boulevard, Brīvības Boulevard, Kalpaka Boulevard and further by the route back to Imanta and Zolitūde. Bus stops «Museum of Arts» and «Esplanade» will be closed on the route. A temporary stop will be organized on Brīvības Boulevard.
